The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)

In addition to A level qualifications, all students can elect to undertake an EPQ qualification. This qualification allows students to get to grips with university style research and writing. Students complete their EPQ on a subject of their own choice – so it’s the ideal opportunity to explore a subject you aspire to succeed in. Many Russell Group universities use successful completion of an EPQ as part of their student selection.

Students have one taught EPQ lesson per week where you will learn the skills and techniques required to complete an EPQ, and your EPQ teacher also acts as the supervisor to your individual project, providing advice and guidance throughout the journey of your EPQ.
